I have a font with two styles: regular and outline.
They have the same weight, width, and slope. Alphabetically, “Regular” comes after “Outline”, but in font menus, I prefer to have Regular show up first. What is the best way to make this happen? I read through the Naming Tutorial and it does mention Outline styles once, but it has no guidance for this scenario that I could see.
This is tricky with static styles and won’t be entirely reliable in all font picker menus, but you can try setting the weight class for your Outline style to something heavier. 450 is enough, already. 401 even. You get the idea.
