Swap stylistic alternates in feature for default glyphs

Hi, newbie here.

I’m subsetting a font (Inter) for use on the web. We use the ‘salt’ feature ubiquitously. Is there an intuitive way to swap/merge the 84 alternate glyphs with their respective default Unicode characters into a new file so that we minimise redundancy (e.g. having a single and double story ‘a’ when we only need the former)? We need to do this across several weights so manual copy/paste would be prohibitive.

You can use a ‘Rename Glyphs’ parameter in an Instance or just rename the glyph manually in your file. You can use Search and Replace on glyph names.
