Template font file

Hello Everyone,

I am toying with the idea of creating a custom template file with pre-set information in the Font-Info, some other predefined elements that I use quite often and would save a lot of time to have in the file and not worry about it later. I made a document, but I was wondering if it is possible to have it as a built in template?

Maybe a useful option for the future if impossible now?

best,

Just save a copy of your file, name it [whatever] Master, then each time you start a new font make a copy of it with the current name. Very easy way.

You can mark a document as a “Stationary pad” when you press Cmd+I on the file in Finder. Then you can open the file but have to Save As….

Open Finder Info and check this checkbox:
47

Then you can create a duplicate by double clicking the file.

Edit: Ah, still had my entry mask open from two hours ago, thats why I din’t see Georg’s post.
