Hello Everyone your help will be most welcome as I can not export the ampersand.full (&) glyph in my font? Please help me find a solution to this?
What do you mean by “you can’t export it”?
I actually found the solution the naming of my symbol should be ampersand for it to export, thank you for responding
Make sure that you checked the “Export” Option . you might disabled it by mistake. & you do not need to rename it just leave it as it’s , while each of “ampersand.full” & “ampersand” are deferent glyphs
Any glyph needs a unicode value to be typeable from the keyboard. You can add a unicode manually to any glyph, but Glyphs app automatically adds it to glyphs without suffixes (such as “ampersand”). You can export any number of ampersands and access them with OT features, but only one can have the unicode to be the default.
