The bracket layer does not work with the component in variable font

I used a bracket layer to create a jump in comma-ar.
This works fine in Variable Font.
But when I use the comma-ar as a component in the semicolon-ar. bracket layer does not work.

Does the bracket layer not work in Component mode. (in variable Fonts)?

That isn’t completely solved yet. Working on it.
