The vertical metric,For imported fonts

For imported fonts, the horizontal metric may be accurate, but the vertical metric is not. The English letters are even far above the baseline, and the Chinese characters have completely lost their vertical measure. Can these be improved?

This is an open source font, you can use this font for Chinese font testing.

The font imports correctly. There are several sets of metrics and usually the “typo” metrics from the OS/2 table are the most reliable. In this case the ones from the hhea might be better. You need to edit that manually. have a look at the parameters in the masters settings.

And the Latin letters don’t sit on the baseline because they are drawn like this.
