Tricky corner components in Italic shapes

Hello Forum!

I have a problem with corner components that have a round attachments when they are applied to italic shapes: if I don’t use a “right” anchor, the curve gets inside the stem (Fig. 1) but if I apply it, the corners are displaced and don’t respect the slanting angle anymore (Fig. 2). Any idea how to circumvent this problem without having to create a right and left corner?

Thank you in advance for the help!

Normally, the corners are supposed to be counter clockwise, meaning in your case they start at the top and end at the bottom. And only the last segment is bent into the angel. So for slanted stems, you need to draw them slanted already. That also means that you need a left and a right serif.
