Trouble exporting font "makeotfGlyphs [FATAL]

I am running 1.4.5 and just changed one glyph of a preexisting font. Made a duplicate and tried to export (it ays “null.” Glyphs either crashes or give me the error message
makeotfGlyphs [FATAL] not in Font Menu Name database

What gives? I have tried going into the scripts but not sure what to change or how to change it…

Also, when I try to name the font in Font Info, Glyphs crashes…

That sounds like you have a illegal character in you font names.

How do I resolve that issue? I am quite new to the program…

If you are new to Glyphs, consider starting with v2 instead of v1.
