Hello.
I have a font with multiple masters which uses corner components to create ink traps. When I try to export as a variable font I get a compatibility error on some glyphs but this doesn’t show as a compatibility error before exporting.
I’m assuming this is a component issue? Hopefully, I don’t need to decompose to make this work.
The instances shown on the right after the heavy weight are tests and not masters.
I’m running Glyphs3 v3.0.4 Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
To be able to apply the corner components, the outlines need to be merged. And in heavier weights, there is an overlap.
what you can try is to cut the right path in two so that the upper part that connects to the concern component and be merged with the stem without the lower part touching the stem. Is that clear?
