Trouble with reading this font

I just “Allow[ed] pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above” in my browser and noticed this forum has a high contrast font for texts.

No idea if this was mentioned before, but is there a chance to get a bit less contrast in this font you are reading right now? Isn’t this a VAR-font with a less contrast option?

Or is anybody using their own fonts anyway?

We seem to be seeing different typefaces.

If you are using a outdated browser or operating system, then the default axis configuration is shown for the variable font. That appears to be happening in your screenshot.
