UFOFormat key in lib.plist?

According to the UFO spec, metainfo.plist holds information about the UFO version.

So I’m wondering why Glyphs adds this key to UFO lib.plist:

  <key>UFOFormat</key>
  <integer>2</integer>

I don’t see this key anywhere in the UFO spec – should this be com.schriftgestaltung.UFOFormat ?
