Hi, been trying to install plugins on Glyphs but only managed to install Python. As for the other plugins, when I click on them, it shows ‘installing’ for a mere split sec before returning back to ‘install’ button. Repeat, rinse, same problem.
Advice please.

Which plugin did you try to install?
• Speed Punk
• Font Tools
• RoboFab
• Vanilla
• Green Harmony
I actually tried installing all the other plugins apart from python and the same bug happens 
Try the latest beta please. Go to Glyphs > Preferences > Updates, activate both checkboxes and press the Update button.
Then uninstall and reinstall Python. And then try again.
If this doesn’t work either, go through the steps of this tutorial:
when you say both boxes, does that include the cutting edge version too?
Yes.
I tried updating to that and re-attempted in reinstalling the plugins, but nope, same bug, same problem and I realize when I tried the other plugins, I have the same issue.

I don’t think that it has to do with the version of the app. More with your internet connection or settings. Not sure what exactly can cause this, though.
Are you behind a firewall that is blocking network access to, for example, GitHub.com? It’s strange that the Python installation worked and the others do not, since all of them use the same installation process.
I just reformated my iMac and now the plugins work, am able to install them now 
Probably something that blocked it
