Unable to move objects without arrow keys

Hi Guys,

I’ve updated and still having the same problem, so wanted to ask:

I can’t move objects without using the arrow keys. I would ideally like to click and drag, but I can’t do this anymore. I’ve attached a screenshot, but this is still an issue if there is a single object within a Glyph box. I don’t have duplicates on top of each other, and I’m not using a drawing tablet.

I cannot reproduce this.

  • Which exact steps are you doing?
  • Which version of the app?
  • What is your system set-up? Anything unusual?

And are you dragging on a node?

What exactly do you mean by ‘single object within a Glyph box’? A single path?

It happens in a new file, even when I generate a new shape.

  • Version 2.6.4
  • Running on Mojave 10.14
  • No unusual setup!

The movie you sent shows that you are using the Select All Layers tool, not the normal Select tool. The Select All Layers tool can drag selected paths on a node but not on a segment.
