Underline problems Variable fonts

Can this be controlled as of 2024?
Left: Static fonts (as I want it)
Right: Variable font

Where do you test? It might need a MVAR table. Have to test this.

I opened an issue about this a couple years ago. I’ll try to push it again since it should be an easy fix.
