Variable Font Help

Hi there,

I’m developing a variable font for a university project, and I just have a question (sorry if it has already been asked, I can’t find the answer anywhere online!).

How do you change the names of the sliders in the font? Everything I do always comes out as ‘Weight’, even when it seems to be set up as something else? I want to have specific names for each variable, is this possible, and if so, how?

I have—for some reason, no matter what I change it to, the value remains at weight.

You need to add a “Axes” parameter. It defines the names for the axes.

I do this and change the name and it still remains Weight on export.
