Variable Font Overlap Outlines in Chrome

Hi all,
I’m working to finish a variable font and noticed some strangeness in Chrome. I’ve attached a screenshot, and if you look carefully you can see tiny white outlines where the paths start/stop/overlap/etc.

I know this can be fixed with some text-rendering css, but is there anything I can do better in Glyphs prior to exporting to prevent the outline from happening? Is it a hinting issue? Is it just a browser thing (Safari handles it a little differently, slightly better)? Everything looks great in Adobe apps. And I’ve never had this issue with other typefaces I’ve made (including the webfont versions).

Thanks!
T

Rendering issue. Nothing you can do about it in the font short of setting up your outlines without overlaps.

OK, thanks for clearing that up!
