I’ve never had a problem with a cutting edge version until today. Clicking on the “Font Info” button crashes the app. Going through File > Font Info also crashes the app.
Anyone else?

Have you tried without plug-ins? There is a known issue with the plug-in API.

Just tried without the plugins (which have never been problematic with any other cutting edge versions) and it works again.
Question: will future updates say that it is safe again to install plugins?
You can try and track down which plug-in it is. Do you have LetterInk installed? That was the culprit for other people who were experiencing crashes in 1234. The problem that caused the crash has been fixed for the upcoming beta.
