Webfont : having a typeface centered in a button

Hello there!
I have some trouble with one of my typefaces when used for buttons on the web : the text should be visually in the middle of the button but seems too high. I tried to play with the values of the vertical metrics and linegap, but it does not change a thing. Do you see something else I should try?

The Vertical Metrics tutorial contains the values browsers use for vertical positioning.

But maybe it’s better to adjust the CSS? you may make it fit the Button this way but it will look worse in other contexts.
