When entering text quickly in text mode, letters after spaces won't show up

When typing in some sample text into an edit window, I find that a letter typed just after a wordspace will not show up if hitting the key happens relatively quickly after the spacebar. This happens at my normal touch-typing speed so it’s a commonly recurring annoyance.

I see why that happens. When you press the space key, Glyphs temporarily switches to the hand tool. When you press the next key before you fully released the space key, the key event goes to the hand tool and not to the text tool. I see what I can do.

Are there any news on this issue?
Maybe it depends on personal typing style, but sometimes very annoing for me as a rapid typer, sorry.
