It is normal in the list filter and this problem does not occur.
This should not happen. I assume you use some input method to write the characters (instead of pasting them). Is that correct? Could you post a screenshot of the text field where this happens?
Can’t I enter Chinese directly in the name field?
You should be able to. I’ll have a look why that does not work for you.
Can confirm – doesn’t work here either. The characters are there, but seem to be ‘invisible’ – if you type something in English followed by five Chinese characters and then hit backspace to delete, the first five delete strokes don’t move the cursor.
It only seems to happen with ‘Custom’ filters, not any of the other options in the dropdown. If you select one of the other options, the characters reappear; if you choose ‘Custom’ again, they stay there until you place the cursor in the Name field, then they disappear again.
The “custom” text field does some simpel syntax highlighting. That seems to be applying a font that doesn’t support CJK. We’ll have a look.
If nothing else, the syntax highlighting would only be expected to apply to the ‘Custom’ input field – not to the name of the filter.
I fixed it. Thanks for reporting this.
