When i export a certain glyphs file as a variable font it crashes my indesign and as soon as i un install the font in design works again. does anyone have any idea why this is happening
can you check the font in Firefox or Chrome. When they work there, it is most likely a bug in Indesign. If not, then the font is broken. You can try fontbakery to find the problem. If you can’t figure it out, you can send us the file that we can have a look.
What version of Glyphs do you have? Maybe try the latest cutting edge version (activate it in Preferences > Updates)?
It works with Dinamo’s font gauntlet. I have attached the font bakery file but im still unsure how to fix this…
It looks like you don’t have a Regular instance set. Add one in Font Info > Exports.
