Font menu order of a three axis font

I’m having trouble with (Adobe) font menu order of a variable font with three axis. Currently styles are ordered by width and weight like this:

-Cond Thin Contrast0
-Cond Thin Contrast100
-Cond Bold Contrast0
-Cond Bold Contrast100
-Wide Thin Contrast0
-Wide Thin Contrast100
-Wide Bold Contrast0
-Wide Bold Contrast100

It is what you’d expect, but I think the menu would look much clearer if the contrast axis extremes would be grouped as a first priority. Like this:

-Contrast0 Cond Thin
-Contrast0 Cond Bold
-Contrast0 Wide Thin
-Contrast0 Wide Bold
-Contrast100 Cond Thin
-Contrast100 Cond Bold
-Contrast100 Wide Thin
-Contrast100 Wide Bold

Is there any way to achieve this?

The instance order depends on the order of axes, so in the font info put Contrast axis first.

Sweet, thanks a lot alexs! I didn’t find that piece of info in the Naming tutorial, maybe it should be added there @mekkablue ?
