Scroll wheel click like two finger tracpad?

I’ve switched my magic tracpad for a pistol grip mouse, but am not finding a way to do the two finger pan/zoom/scroll

I saw an old post where its sorta an apple OS thing that can’t really be fixed or worked around very easily?

Is this still the case?

Asking for my developing carpel tunnel :weary:

What are you trying to do, exactly? Can you not scroll with your mouse? To zoom with a scroll wheel, hold down Option in Glyphs.

I’m hoping to be able to click the mouse and have it behave like the “two-finger” scroll with the tracpad.

I know I can zoom w/ opt + scroll, and go horiz. with shift + scroll, but ideally I like to be able to do both without having to use a keystroke…

This sorta describes it:

But hoping that theres a way to do a “wheel click” to trigger the scroll/zoom?

Also thank you for your reply Sebastian.

There is the :zoom_tool: Zoom tool for a no-click solution:

Could you describe this workflow in more detail? Do you want a click on the scroll wheel to toggle between scrolling vertically and zooming? Or pressing the wheel as you scroll to zoom?

Oh thanks for the link.

When using the trackpad, with two fingers it does x, y scroll, and then pinch to zoom.

Ideally if clicking the “scroll wheel” it could scroll x, y and then zoom when wheel “turned”

Currently turning the wheel goes y, then shift + wheel does x.

In adobe illustrator clicking ( and holding ) the wheel does the “hand” tool, but hand tool in glyphs get me out of the editor mode and into “priview” ( no sidebearings and only shapes ).

I will read the section on the display. Thank you for your help.
