I am running out of numbers for switching masters. In the cases when I have 10+ masters (Cmd+1…10), is there a way to switch with a simple script or maybe a shortcut like prev/next glyph.
You have more than ten masters? Interesting. I would like to see that.
Font.parent.windowController().setMasterIndex_(Font.masterIndex - 1)
I added the setting of the master index to the wrapper so it is much nicer, soon.
Works like a charm. Thank you, Georg!
As far as the masters, it is mostly for convenience at this point. Quite handy for fonts with effects.
Where do I have to put this in to make it work?
Also have way to many masters to navigate normally… Or is there a new solution yet?
Thanks in advance!
Look into Edit > Other. Set a keyboard shortcut in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts.
Easy: 6 axes for a variable font currently already demand for at least 13 masters, no?
You need minimum seven master number for six axis.
I just found that the current answer has changed slightly, and is located here:
