I lost a file I created from a duplicate that I worked on all yesterday. I also tried opening a Glyphs file of the same thing 20 minutes before closing yesterday using TimeMachine.
The reason stated is: Invalid Point definition on line 2555
^ Bonus to this one for having the exact same title as this topic (except for one x less)
A glyphs file I’m working is not opening anymore. Message I’ve got was “Document could not be opened. Problem with file at line 56081”. Could you help me to recover it, @GeorgSeifert ? Thank you so much!
Hi all,
I am trying to open an older Glyphs file, but getting the following error message:
Document couldn’t be opened. Unknown token “AM” on line: 15
Has anyone had that before?
File is from June 21, 2021. Most likely not even created in Glyphs 3…
Many thanks, Tobias
When opening it states: “The document could not be opened. Problem with file at line 37941” … I also tried Opt-Shift opening, but it also fails.
I’m running Glyphs 3.0.4 (3098) on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
I had just duplicated a single master, and I suddenly noticed the lowercase ‘a’ somehow had become incompatible (I hadn’t even made any changes to the duplicate). I thought it’d be a bug, so I shut down Glyphs to reopen the file, but it’s now stuck on the error notification.
tl;dr please post a code snippet of the 20 or so lines around the line indicated in the error message. To do so, open the .glyphs file in a text editor (TextMate, Sublime Text…) and navigate to the line in question.
